About

Ryan’s Ramblings is a simple place for short “nudgings” of faith—moments from ordinary life that whisper of Jesus’ grace. Every Thursday, I share a photo, a title, and a new Nudging to encourage your heart and steady your steps.

I have spent over three decades living at the intersection of faith, education, and everyday life. I serve as Associate Pastor at Eagle Nazarene Church in Eagle, Idaho, where it is my joy to lead, encourage, preach, teach, mentor, serve, pray, and walk alongside people in their journey with Jesus.

I have been an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene since 2003, I holds a Doctor of Ministry degreee in 21st Century Christian Leadership (Drew University), a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation, and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.

In addition to pastoral ministry, I have served as a university professor, school principal, international Christian school administrator, and public-school educator.

I have been married to my wife, Dina, for 38 years. I am the proud father of two grown daughters, father-in-law to two wonderful sons, and “Grandad” to one beloved granddaughter.

If you asked me what matters most, I would tell you this: Jesus loves you and wants to give you the abundant life that is only found in Him. There is no greater thing.

Whether in the pulpit, the classroom, or through my writing, my passion is simple: helping people hear and respond to the gentle voice of Jesus in the ordinary moments of life.
